Infection Control

All our service provision is currently operative under strict government health and social care guidelines.

To advise that all staff have now undergone Covid-19 vaccines (both doses) and have access to regular testing swabs for Covid-19. We hope this will help alleviate any anxiety that any of our clients may have.

We take infection control seriously in all our service provision. Staff have undertaken infection control training and are issued with 3 layer face masks, face shields, disposable gloves, disposable aprons, antibacterial hand gel and hand wash.

We follow very closely the ever changing advice regarding the challenges the world and work to higher safety guidelines than is recommended for our sector. This helps to protect not only staff but also clients from possible cross contamination.

It is thanks to our dedicated staff whom are recognised key workers that as a social care service provider we are able to provide services to our elderly and vulnerable clients we understand the anxiousness our clients may be experiencing due to the frequently changing government advice.  This has led to an increase in service requests from our Safe Hands Homecare division.

Rest Assured our clients and staff safety is paramount and all our staff use Hospital standard antibacterial sanitiser and hand wash/wipes both prior to and when leaving customers properties.  They are also issued with disposable gloves, disposable aprons and sleeve/arm protectors as well as their company provided antibacterial handwash to use when they are at clients properties.  These ensure as much as possible the prevention of any cross contamination. There are NO staff with any illness/symptoms and should any staff experience symptoms that require self isolation, they and us as a company will follow NHS advice and self isolate.  Staff whom may experience symptoms in the future will NOT be sent to clients homes.

We equally would like clients and their families to work with us and advise immediately if any clients are experiencing symptoms that will require them to self isolate and calls will be cancelled and we will keep in contact regarding re-commencement of services.

We ask that all clients whom use their own products to ensure that they have antibacterial quality cleaning products for our staff to use and prevent cross contamination, we always ensure our staff carry use these products for services where we provide cleaning products.

As a company we are equipped to deal with many situations and provide staff with provided government advised PPE.

Should clients whom have symptoms and have to self isolate require their shopping call, then we are still able to do this for them, however the shopping will have to left at the door and will be invoiced as normal.  Shopping lists can be called or text thru or via email.

The worry this is causing for our older clients is understandable and should clients have ANY questions/queries do not hesitate to call us.
